Stuck inside? Here are some easy ideas to keep the kids busy:
Get out of the house:
- Head to the Meadville Public Library for books, play areas, or storytime
- Go bowling at Meadville Lanes
- Catch a movie at The Movies at Meadville
- Visit the Meadville Area YMCA for open gym or swim times
- Check out indoor fun at Jumpin' Jungle
- Walk around the Meadville Mall or a local store for some easy, free movement
Stay home:
- Build a blanket fort and read inside
- Bake cookies or let the kids help in the kitchen
- Set up crafts like coloring, painting, or stickers
- Do puzzles or play board games together
Quick energy burn:
- Indoor scavenger hunt
- Dance party in the living room
- If it’s not too bad out, put on rain boots and jump in puddles
